課程概述 |
This course provides an introduction to bioinformatics, covering basic sequence analyses and molecular evolutionary methods. Analyses of a large amount of DNA sequencing data play a pivotal role in the modern molecular biology. Online web services are used so that students can acquire basic knowledge of a wide range of bioinformatics approaches in an easy-to-understand manner.
A term paper is required to submit one week after the final class. |
課程目標 |
The course aims to provide information about online resources for bioinformatics analyses. General data processing is explained in a plain manner through hands-on learning. Students will learn practical large-scale data analyses. |
課程要求 |
Basic knowledge of molecular biology is required. No specialist knowledge of bioinformatics is needed. |
